Ask anyone how to start a business, and they'll say: "Think of what you want or need, but can't get - then bottle it up and sell it!"

This is exactly how the idea of this rug venture came to me - we all love beautiful things - paintings, furniture, nick-nacks…they add to the warmth of our homes, but somehow the floors seem to have been overlooked, which is why I feel I can fill an empty space. So many of my friends have said that they would love to have some 'tailor-made' rugs to match their colour schemes and taste, but can't seem to find the answer. Some even want their family crests on rugs! I hope I have the solution to help you.

In decorating my own home, I wanted rugs that were attractive designs, hand embroidered in naturally dyed pure wool, designed to last and be affordable. In particular, I wanted my own colours, designs, and themes to suit anything from formal drawing rooms to children's bedrooms.

I found the answer in Portugal. Working with several family businesses, I have created a range of rugs using my own designs and colours which I hope will fit the bill. What you see on this website are samples of rugs that can be tailor-made for you, customised to your own colours and size requirements.

I will be happy to visit you in your home to discuss what you would like and give advice as to the designs and colours that would best suit your needs.
