The interior decoration of this room was undertaken by E&E Designs. Being the “living” end of a large country kitchen with a stone floor used frequently for informal entertaining, the client wanted a warm and inviting room. We therefore designed the rug to pull together all the various colours. The upholstered stool, built by a trusted craftsman long known to us, has a deep bullion fringe selected to pick out the blues in the room and the natural colours of the stone floor and fireplace.

A rug adds considerable warmth to a bedroom. This is a customised design of alternate red and green leaves, in colours that complement the existing colour scheme of the room.

Simple and creative ideas for a child’s bedroom: this is a further example of how customised rugs can be designed for any situation, here adapting a curtain motif into a fun and cheerful child’s rug. Other designs have even included a client’s beloved dachshund on a runner in her hall.

Also designed by E&E Designs, this well-disguised cinema is incorporated into the eaves of a garage building. Being a fairly dark room, our client wanted to brighten it up with vibrant colours. The feather design was the idea of their daughter embarking on her Art GCSE. It was an easy task to translate the outline of the feather motif into a computerised rendering showing the overall design.

Virtually any design can be created, demonstrated by these family crests, with colours matched accurately to the original archives. On the right, we selected an element of the crest to break up the empty background. On the left, as an example of attention to detail, several colours were used in the curved row of pearls to give them depth.
